I’m not sure whether or not to sign on to this beginning with “testing 1-2-3″ or to just say, “Good morning!” This is new to me, but I thought it might be a great way to keep in touch with family that is so spread out.
We had a nice Thanksgiving-Jeanne, Bruce’s mom was here to celebrate Bruce’s birthday. It was nice to see her again. Jill brought Drew (“Andy” to his family) and Drew’s parents and brother. It was a lot of fun meeting everyone. They are a wonderful family and a lot of fun to be with. Everyone contributed wonderful menu items so it was much easier on me. Thank you to Beth for her potatoes and wonderful broccoli salad! David, the sparkling cider is always a hit-thank you! Jill-holy cow girl-six pies! I hope the ones you took home have been devoured by now. We’re still working on the half you left.
It is a snowy, icy and cold morning here today. School has been cancelled, so that’s why I have time to try this today. The weather this month has been quite interesting-first the floods, and now the snow. We did break the all-time record for the wettest month ever recorded. The down side-we will have to make up these cancelled school days at the end of the year.
Thank you Tom, for setting this up for me. That was very nice of you! Now, let me see if this works…!
Hey kiddo,
A snow day already? You might not get out of school this year until July – hasn’t school already been cancelled three days this year? Well, maybe you can get your tree up today (or get some well deserved rest). Two days ago we had a low of 26 degrees, today we’ll have a high somewhere in the mid-70’s.
Take care of yourself and love to all of the family.

BRAVO JULIE! Your first blog entry was successful. I have added you to my “favorite places” and will check in often. I will get you added to my “blogroll” as soon as this weekends concert is over with. I’m drowning in my 2nd job right now. Glad to see you up and running online. Keep us informed of the happenings “up north”. My love to all!
